Aleppo, SANA-A General Security patrol in Manbij city in the Aleppo countryside was ambushed while conducting a routine patrol.
“During a routine patrol in the city of Manbij, a General Security patrol was ambushed, where gunfire was fired and hand grenades were thrown at it, injuring one security member.” Deputy Security Officer in the Manbij area, Muhannad al-Khatib, told a SANA reporter in Aleppo.
Al-Khatib added: “Following the incident, the General Security Department raided the den of the group responsible for the attack, arrested several of its members, and confiscated weapons and ammunition.”.
