Information Minister: We reject the use of university campuses as a platform for sectarian mobilization

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Information Dr. Hamza al-Mustafa emphasized his absolute rejection of the use of university campuses as a platform for sectarian incitement and threatening civil peace in any way, and that anyone who violates the law will be held accountable.

In a post on his Facebook page, the Minister confirmed that he had contacted the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Marwan al-Halabi, regarding the recent scene circulating on social media platforms showing several students leaving the university campus.

Dr. Mustafa pledged that Syrian universities would remain beacons of thought and protectors of the diversity of which Syria is proud.
