Lattakia, SANA-Governor of Lattakia, Mohammad Othman, met Saturday with a delegation from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to explore ways to strengthen collaboration across various sectors, particularly in areas affected by recent events, including Lattakia northern countryside.
According to the Lattakia Governorate’s Telegram channel, both parties reviewed key projects implemented in 2024 and discussed future cooperation. The talks emphasized support for the rehabilitation of schools, healthcare centers, and water and sanitation networks to improve essential services in the city and its outskirts.
The meeting also addressed opportunities to expand the partnership, aiming to implement additional projects that meet local community needs and support recovery and sustainable development efforts in the province
