Berlin, SANA- Germany’s envoy for Syria, Stefan Schneck, welcomed the hoisting of Syria new flag before the UN HQ in New York.
“This is a historic day, we welcome Syria and its new flag at the United Nations, Syria is back to the international community, as we strive to uphold human rights and end torture, hunger, and armed conflict,” Schneck tweeted on X.
“We need partners in that fight for humanity, and Germany is ready to help Syria become a partner in these issues,” Schneck added.
