Cairo, SANA-Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi affirmed his country’s support for Syria in its reconstruction efforts and in fulfilling the aspirations of the Syrian people.
“We affirm our support for Syria in its reconstruction efforts on the foundations that guarantee its unity, security, cohesion, and sovereignty, rid it of terrorism, create conditions for the voluntary return of refugees, and fulfill the aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people.” Jordanian Al-Mamlaka TV quoted Safadi as saying in a speech during the 163rd regular session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level in Cairo, which his country chairs.
Safadi also welcomed Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad al-Shaibani, who is attending the session.
