Foreign Ministry issues statement regarding diplomats who defected from deposed regime

Damascus, SANA- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has released a statement addressing the honorable Syrian diplomats who defected from the deposed regime. It reads as follows:

Dear Honorable Syrian Diplomats,
Greetings of appreciation and respect,

Believing in the great national role you played by defecting from the ousted regime and standing by your people and their just cause, and out of our commitment to preserving and documenting this honorable history, as well as recognizing the importance of activating your role in the phase of building a new Syria, we are currently working on gathering and updating the data of the diplomatic colleagues who have defected from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

We kindly ask you to complete the following form, which has been specially designed for this purpose. Please note that registration will end on 31/5/2025. All data will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and will only be used to organize future diplomatic work and communicate with you in ways that serve national interests.

Your contribution to this effort represents a significant step towards reunification and coordination during this critical stage of our national journey.
