Damascus, SANA-Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Ms. Hind Kabawat, has held discussions with Rosemary DiCarlo, the UN Deputy Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, as well as Najat Rochdi, the Deputy Special Envoy for Syria, and their accompanying delegation. The talks focused on key projects to support Syrian society.
The ministry’s media office told SANA that the meeting, held Tuesday at the ministry’s headquarters, included an extensive dialogue on the UN’s support for the Syrian government, emphasizing the need for inclusivity across all components of society, enhancing women’s roles, and their involvement in decision-making.
The meeting also addressed advocacy mechanisms for societal issues and the importance of transitional justice in rebuilding Syrian society.
