Damascus, SANA- Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Abdul Salam Haykal emphasized the critical role of establishing a comprehensive digital system for health information that integrates with information systems in different ministries and departments.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology clarified via its Telegram channel that Minister Haykal’s assertion came during his participation in the third day of the First UOSSM Conference 2025 for Primary Healthcare, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Health at the Damascus University auditorium last Saturday.
Digital security and the provision of digital infrastructure are of utmost importance for delivering services to citizens, ensuring accessible digital resources, and offering comprehensive medical and health knowledge to students. This initiative is expected to have a tangible impact on improving healthcare services and accessibility.
