Damascus, SANA- Minister of Communications and Information technology, Abd El-Salam Haykal, revealed a plan to adopt an electronic poster, “emoji,” for the new national flag.
The Minister clarified, via a tweet on the (X) platform, that the Ministry has begun communicating formally with major technical platforms such as Google, Samsung, Microsoft, as well as key applications such as WhatsApp, Instagram and others, to adopt the new national flag.
According to the Minister of Communications, this initiative represents an important step in the way of strengthening our national symbols within the spaces of the digital world.
