Doha, SANA- The State of Qatar strongly condemned the Israeli airstrikes on Daraa, describing the act as a blatant violation of Syria’s sovereignty and unity and a flagrant breach to international law.
Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement posted on its official X account, called on the international community to take urgent action to compel Israel to comply with international laws and norms and to halt repeated attacks on Syrian territory, thus preventing further escalation and tension in the region.
The statement reiterated the State of Qatar’s firm stance in support of Syria’s sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity.
