Cairo, SANA- President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Ahmad al-Sharaa stressed that Syria is now in its natural place among its Arab brothers, as it is part of the Arab fold.
In a statement to Al-Arabiya Al-Hadath channel on the sidelines of his participation in the extraordinary Arab summit “Palestine Summit” held in Cairo , President al-Sharaa said: “Our relationship with the Arabs in general was built before the Arab summit, and many Arab leaders visited Damascus, and I made some visits to Arab countries, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs visited several countries.”
He added: Syria is now in its natural place and is part of the Arab fold., especially with Egypt, and as they say, Egypt and Syria are two wings of the same bird, and this has been the natural state throughout all periods of history.”
Regarding the Israeli aggressions on Syrian territory, President al-Sharaa said that “Israel has taken advantage of the phase of the regime’s collapse and it has made progress under security pretexts, but expansionist intentions are evident in this matter. How will we respond?” That is what we should not say now.
