Damascus, SANA- Qatari aid plane arrived at Damascus International Airport Tuesday, carrying humanitarian aid provided by Qatar Development Fund and Qatar Charity Organization for the Syrian people.
Head of Qatar Red Crescent Office(QRCS), Mazen Abdullah, said in a statement to journalists that this plane is the third to arrive in Damascus, as a part of a Qatari air bridge, and carries 23 tons of food and shelter aid.
Abdullah noted the aid will be distributed with the help of Qatar Red Crescent and Syrian Arab Red Crescent.
He added “this air bridge will continue weekly every Monday and Thursday in support of our Syrian brothers”.
