Damascus,SANA-Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shibani received on Wednesday a phone call from Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya.
Al-Yahya congratulated the Syrian people on their victory after a struggle that lasted for about 14 years, stressing his country’s support for the steps taken by new Damascus government.
Al-Yahya expressed Kuwait’s readiness to cooperate in a way that serves the interests of the two countries and contributes to the stability of Syria.
For his part, Minister Al-Sheibani appreciated the positions of brotherly Kuwait on the Syrian revolution, and stressed the strong ties that unite the two countries.
