Damascus, Oct. 27 (SANA) The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said Monday it had conveyed to Jordan Syria‘s full reservation regarding conducting operations inside Syrian territory without prior coordination with Damascus.

“We express our deep regret over the deaths and injuries among residents of Daraa province as a result of this operation,” the ministry said in remarks to SANA.

The ministry added that communication and coordination with the Jordanian side were ongoing to establish the details and reasons behind the incident and address its repercussions in a manner that safeguards security and the sovereignty of Syrian territory.

Earlier, Daraa Health Director Dr. Khaled Al-Omian told SANA that civilians, including children and an elderly man, had been killed or injured in Jordanian airstrikes targeting several sites in the countryside of Daraa province.
