Aqaba, Oct. 22 (SANA) Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani met with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi in the Jordanian city of Aqaba on Thursday to discuss bilateral relations, preparations for an upcoming joint coordination council meeting and developments in Syria and the region.
The talks focused on ways to strengthen relations between the two countries across various fields, as well as preparations for the third session of the Higher Coordination Council, scheduled to be held in Damascus next month.
The two ministers also discussed developments in Syria and the wider region and their implications for both countries.
They stressed the importance of maintaining joint coordination and consultations to serve the interests of the Syrian and Jordanian peoples and strengthen security and stability across the region.
