Damascus, Oct. 15 (SANA) Seismic monitoring stations operated by the National Earthquake Center at the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management recorded a magnitude-3.0 earthquake at 4:38 a.m. local time on Thursday, at a depth of 36.4 kilometers, about 38 kilometers northwest of Hasakah.
The Center said in a statement on its Telegram channel that the tremor occurred along the Sinjar-Abdulaziz fault system and was not felt, falling within the range of normal seismic activity.
