Brussels , Oct. 5 (SANA) Dozens of members of the Syrian community held a protest in Brussels on Sunday against Israeli attacks on Syria, calling for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Syrian territory and an end to interference in Syrian affairs.
Participants carried banners reaffirming their commitment to Syria’s territorial unity and sovereignty and its right to recover its occupied territory. They also stressed the need to prevent further escalation and tensions in the region.

Farhan al-Hamed, one of the protest organizers, told SANA that the demonstrations aimed to affirm that Syrians, regardless of the circumstances they have experienced, would not abandon their occupied land.
He said Syrians would continue organizing such protests to express their commitment to their rights and the sovereignty of their country, adding that the significance of such actions was not determined by the number of participants but by their continued ability to convey their message.
Islam Farjani, one of the participants, said Syrians living abroad continue to express their positions on developments in their country, describing participation in such protests as a national duty to make Syria’s voice heard.
Alaa al-Mowat, another participant, stressed the role of Syrians living abroad in supporting their country and its people, saying that participating and expressing one’s position were among the ways they could support Syria under the current circumstances.
The protest came amid continued tensions linked to Israeli attacks and incursions into Syrian territory since the fall of the former government, along with expanded Israeli military activity in southern Syria.
