Damascus Countryside, Sep.11 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces shelled Friday the area surrounding Bat al-Warda Hill near Beit Jinn western Damascus Countryside, with no injuries reported.
SANA’s correspondent said artillery shells fired by the Israeli occupation forces landed around the hill. No casualties were reported.
Earlier Friday, Israeli occupation forces shelled the area surrounding Beit Jinn with an artillery round.
On September 5, Israeli occupation forces shelled the area surrounding Bat al-Warda Hill near Beit Jinn. The following day, they shelled al-Mashaaela village in northern Quneitra countryside, killing several sheep.
The Israeli occupation continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, raids on and arrests of civilians, land leveling and artillery attacks and other acts of aggression.
Syria demands the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation from its territory, stressing that all measures taken by the occupation are null and void and have no legal effect under international law. Syria also calls on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and compel Israel to fully withdraw from southern Syria.
