Damascus, Aug. 29 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces targeted the vicinity of Bat al-Warda hill near the town of Beit Jinn in western Damascus countryside on Saturday with three artillery shells, according to a SANA reporter. No casualties were reported.
The incident follows a similar strike on Friday, when Israeli forces fired two artillery shells into farmland surrounding Bat al-Warda hill, located between Beit Jinn and al-Telal al-Humr in western Damascus countryside, causing no injuries.
The strikes come amid continued violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement in southern Syria, including ground incursions, house raids, arrests, land bulldozing, and shelling attacks.
Syria has repeatedly demanded the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from its territory, reiterating that all actions taken by Israeli occupation in southern Syria are null, void, and without legal effect under international law, while calling on the international community to compel Israel to adhere to international resolutions.
