Kuwait, Sept. 10 (SANA) Kuwait strongly condemned the illegal entry of the Israeli occupation prime minister into Syrian territory, stressing that it constitutes a flagrant violation of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and calling on the UN Security Council to shoulder its responsibilities to halt Israeli attacks.
In a statement posted on X, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry said the continued incursions and attacks by the Israeli occupation inside Syrian territory constitute an escalation that undermines security and stability in the region.
The ministry reiterated Kuwait’s full support for the independence of the Syrian Arab Republic and its sovereignty over all its territory.
It stressed the need for the Security Council to shoulder its responsibilities to halt the attacks, ensure compliance with relevant international legitimacy resolutions and respect the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
Syria on Wednesday strongly condemned the illegal entry of Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu into Syrian territory and his tour of Mount Hermon, calling on the United Nations, international organizations and influential countries to shoulder their responsibilities to halt the attacks.
