Riyadh, Sept. 7 (SANA) General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport Chairman Omar Hosari met Monday in Riyadh with flynas CEO Bandar Almohanna to review the implementation of the agreement establishing “flynas Syria.”
During his visit to the Saudi budget carrier’s headquarters in the Saudi capital, Hosari discussed expanding bilateral civil aviation cooperation and inspected the airline’s operational systems and infrastructure alongside his delegation.
The meeting follows talks held Sunday between Hosari and his Saudi counterpart, Abdulaziz al-Duailej, focused on boosting air traffic and civil aviation coordination between Syria and Saudi Arabia.
In February, the General Authority signed an agreement to establish “nas Syria” as a new low-cost airline, part of a broader package of strategic Syrian-Saudi commercial agreements.
