Damascus, Aug. 29 (SANA) The 63rd Damascus International Fair opened its doors to the general public on Saturday for its fourth day at the Damascus Fairgrounds, following the conclusion of three days dedicated exclusively to business and investment programs.
Fair management announced daily public visiting hours from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. through Sept. 4. Free public transportation has been provided to facilitate visitor access, with buses departing from Bab Touma and Baramkeh squares between 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., while return trips from the fairgrounds run from 8:00 p.m. until 11:30 p.m.
As part of the operational readiness plan, medical teams, Civil Defense units, and Ministry of Interior personnel have been deployed across the fairgrounds to establish emergency response points and ensure smooth traffic flow and safety.
The dedicated business portion of the fair concluded on Friday after three days of B2B and B2G sessions held from Aug. 26 to Aug. 28. The meetings focused on commercial, industrial, and investment cooperation, as well as joint projects between Syrian businesses and participating Arab and international entities.
Operating under the theme “Syria Shines Again,” the 63rd edition of the fair began on Aug. 26 and runs until Sept. 4. Participants include local, regional, and international companies, public institutions, chambers of commerce, and business councils.
The previous 62nd edition of the Damascus International Fair, held from Aug. 28 to Sept. 5, 2025, drew 2.261 million visitors.
