Ottawa, Aug. 28 (SANA) Canada on Friday welcomed the agreement to integrate the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) into the Syrian state.
In a post on X, Canada’s foreign ministry said the agreement represented an important step toward a united, peaceful and inclusive Syria.
It stressed the importance of implementing the agreement in a way that respects the rights and aspirations of all Syrians.
On Tuesday, Mazloum Abdi announced the end of the SDF’s mission and its dissolution as an independent military force following the completion of its integration into Syrian army brigades.
