Manama, Aug. 23 (SANA) The Kingdom of Bahrain on Sunday strongly condemned the “heinous terrorist attack” that targeted an Internal Security Forces bus in Damascus countryside on Saturday, affirming its full solidarity with Syria, according to a Foreign Ministry statement on X.
Bahrain expressed its support for the measures taken by the Syrian government to maintain the country’s security and stability, the statement said.
The ministry reaffirmed Bahrain’s steadfast rejection of acts of violence and terrorism aimed at destabilizing security and terrorizing civilians, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
On Saturday, a number of Internal Security Forces personnel were injured when an explosive device detonated on a bus carrying them on the Marouneh–Al-Tal road in Damascus countryside.
