Ankara, Aug. 22 (SANA) Chargé d’Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Ankara Fadi al-Qassem held two separate meetings with delegations from the Syrian community in Istanbul, aimed at strengthening direct communication with Syrians living in Türkiye and hearing their views and proposals.
The meetings, attended by Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management Raed al-Saleh and Syrian Consul General in Istanbul Khaled Hindawi, also discussed ways to develop joint efforts to better serve members of the Syrian community.
Discussions addressed several issues concerning Syrians residing in Türkiye, as well as community and cultural initiatives and ways to support and develop them, with the aim of fostering cooperation and a sense of belonging while strengthening ties between the diplomatic mission and the Syrian community.
