Quneitra, Aug. 6 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces fired three artillery shells on Thursday at the vicinity of Western al-Samdaniyah village in the northern Quneitra countryside.
SANA reporter said the shells landed in an agricultural land surrounding the village, with no casualties reported.
The shelling came after an Israeli force entered the area near Jbata al-Khashab quarries junction in northern Quneitra countryside on Tuesday, where it set up a temporary checkpoint, stopped and searched passers-by before withdrawing.
Israeli occupation forces continue to carry out incursions and attacks in southern Syria, in violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
Syria says all measures taken by Israel on its territory are null and void and have no legal effect under international law.
