Damascus, June 30 (SANA) Syrian Interior Minister Anas Khattab met Turkish Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi in Damascus on Tuesday to discuss bilateral cooperation aimed at enhancing regional security and stability.
The ministers reviewed a range of issues of mutual interest and discussed expanding cooperation in support of the interests of both countries and their peoples, according to the Interior Ministry.
The talks come as Syria and Türkiye continue to deepen official engagement following a period of renewed diplomatic contacts aimed at rebuilding bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation across political, economic and security sectors.
The latest meeting reflects ongoing efforts by Damascus and Ankara to strengthen institutional cooperation and develop practical mechanisms for addressing issues of common concern.
