Israeli forces carry out incursion into Jamla town western Daraa

Daraa, June 27 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces advanced into Jamla town western Daraa countryside on Friday, carrying out searches of several homes.
SANA reporter in Quneitra and Daraa reported that an occupation force consisting of eight military vehicles and a tank set off from the Tal Abu al-Ghaithar checkpoint towards the Wadi al-Raqqad area on the administrative border between Quneitra and Daraa governorates.

The reporter added that the forces entered the town of Jamla in the western countryside of Daraa, deployed in its neighborhoods, and searched several homes, while drones flew over the area.

On Friday, Israeli occupation forces pushed into the village of Maariyah in the Yarmouk Basin area of western Daraa countryside.

Israel continues its attacks and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through incursions into southern Syria, including raids, arrests, land bulldozing, and shelling that have become near-daily occurrences across the country’s south.

Syria demands the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory and asserts that all Israeli measures in southern Syria are null and void and carry no legal effect under international law.

Damascus also calls on the international community to assume its responsibilities, deter these practices, and compel Israel to withdraw completely from southern Syria.
