Damascus, June 21 (SANA) The Syrian Interior Ministry said on Sunday that it had arrested three individuals for involvement in crimes against residents of Deir Ezzor province during the rule of the deposed regime.
The ministry announced on Wednesday the arrest of 10 other individuals from the remnants of the ousted regime in separate security operations.
It said the arrests are part of ongoing efforts to pursue and hold accountable those involved in crimes and violations against Syrians under the deposed regime, in line with the principle of accountability, transitional justice, and ensuring the rights of victims and their families.
