Information minister discusses media challenges with journalists in Idlib

Idlib, June 11 (SANA) Information Minister, Khaled al-Zaarour, met with a number of journalists in Idlib on Thursday to discuss the state of media work in the province, the challenges facing media professionals and proposals aimed at improving media performance and strengthening its role in serving community issues.

The meeting was part of the minister’s ongoing engagements with media professionals across the country to assess working conditions and support the development of the sector.

Earlier in the day, al-Zaarour met with Idlib Governor Mohammad Abdul Rahman to discuss mechanisms for strengthening media work and improving coverage of events and activities across the province.

On Wednesday, the minister also met with journalists in Aleppo as part of efforts to enhance communication with media workers and gain a closer understanding of the realities and challenges facing the profession.
