Damascus, May 18 (SANA) Syria’s Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, in cooperation with the World Food Programme (WFP), launched the National Nutrition-Sensitive Social Protection Program aimed at strengthening social support systems and promoting economic empowerment.
The program, named “T-Anmu,” seeks to support the development of a more cohesive society through a fair and effective social protection system focused on empowerment, participation and access to decent work opportunities.
Officials said the program is designed to help preserve human dignity while contributing to social stability and long-term development.
The launch forms part of ongoing cooperation between Syrian institutions and international organizations working on humanitarian assistance, food security and social support programs.
The World Food Programme has continued to support food assistance and development initiatives in Syria amid ongoing economic and humanitarian challenges affecting large segments of the population.
