Damascus, 17 May (SANA) Syria’s Foreign and Expatriates Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani met on Sunday with Claudio Cordone, Deputy Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Syria.
The talks addressed, during the meeting, aspects of joint cooperation between Syria and the UN, including support for recovery efforts and various areas of cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
Both sides stressed the importance of maintaining coordination and cooperation in a manner that supports stability and respects Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
