Damascus, May 13 (SANA) Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Kabawat discussed Tuesday with Egyptian Chargé d’Affaires in Damascus Mohammad Omar Abdel Aziz El-Feki ways to enhance joint cooperation between Syria and Egypt in the fields of social affairs and labor.
According to the ministry’s Telegram channel, the meeting addressed prospects for cooperation with Egypt’s Ministries of Social Solidarity and Labor, in addition to coordination with relevant Egyptian institutions and bodies.
The talks included preparations for an official visit to Cairo aimed at reviewing Egyptian experiences and benefiting from them in developing social and vocational programs in Syria.
The meeting comes as part of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor’s efforts to strengthen cooperation with neighboring and friendly countries, as well as international organizations concerned with social and humanitarian issues in Syria, in a way that contributes to developing support programs and exchanging expertise.
