Quneitra, May.5 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces penetrated on Tuesday into the vicinity of Sida al-Hanout village in the southern countryside of Quneitra.
SANA’s correspondent in Quneitra reported that an Israeli force of three military vehicles moved from Tal Abu Ghaithar toward Sida al-Hanout village, where it stopped in the al-Maakar area west of the village before later withdrawing.
Earlier in the day, another Israeli occupation force of four military vehicles advanced through the Tal al-Jallab gate toward the outskirts of al-Rafid town in the southern countryside of Quneitra.
Israel persists in its attacks and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, assaults on civilians, raids, arrests, land bulldozing, and the firing of mortar rounds and artillery shells, in addition to other criminal practices.
Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, stressing that all measures undertaken by the occupation in southern Syria are null and void and carry no legal effect under international law. Syria has also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities, deter Israeli violations, and oblige the occupation to fully withdraw from southern Syria.
