Quneitra, April 18 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces advanced into the area of Tel al-Ahmar al-Sharqi in the southern countryside of Quneitra on Saturday evening, where they established positions inside prefabricated structures on the hilltop.

SANA’s reporter in the province said the incursion involved a force equipped with two tanks, two vehicles, and a Humvee. The troops entered the site and occupied prefabricated rooms that had been brought in the previous day.

On Friday, Israeli forces entered the same area with three trucks carrying prefabricated structures, supported by a crane, a loader, and additional Humvee vehicles.

Earlier on Saturday, another Israeli force entered northern Quneitra countryside, where it set up a temporary checkpoint on the Taranja–Mazare‘ al-Amal road, briefly inspecting civilians before withdrawing.

The Israeli occupation continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria.

Syria has repeatedly demanded the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, stressing that all measures taken by the occupation in southern Syria are null and void and carry no legal effect under international law.
