Damascus, April 16 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa met on Thursday at the People’s Palace with Syrian businessman Hossam Tattari, head of the Syrian-Turkish Business Council, to discuss the textile industry and prospects for its development in Syria.
Tattari is a prominent businessman and industrialist in the textile sector in Aleppo. He has also established major industrial projects in Türkiye, particularly in Kahramanmaraş province, contributing to the creation of hundreds of jobs for Syrians and Turks and receiving official recognition for his economic contributions.
He has served as head of the Syrian-Turkish Business Council on the Syrian side since August 3, 2025. The council aims to enhance industrial and economic integration between the two countries and promote mechanisms for joint cooperation.
