Damascus, April 15 (SANA) On behalf of President Ahmad al-Sharaa, Damascus Governor Maher Marwan Idlbi, accompanied by Presidential Media Adviser Ahmad Mowaffaq Zaidan, conveyed the President’s greetings and Easter well-wishes on Wednesday to His Holiness Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East and Supreme Head of the Syriac Orthodox Church worldwide, wishing him continued health and success, and prosperity for the members of the community.
Governor Idlbi also conveyed the President’s Easter greetings to His Beatitude Joseph Absi, Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, wishing him good health and success, and further well-being and prosperity for the community.
Patriarchs Aphrem II and Absi voiced their gratitude to President al-Sharaa for the greetings, praying for the safety and well-being of Syria and its people.
