Hama, April 6 (SANA) The Syrian Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management, in cooperation with local authorities, on Monday launched the second phase of a debris removal campaign in the town of Kafr Nabudah in the Hama countryside, aimed at facilitating the return of displaced residents.
The campaign focuses on clearing rubble and war remnants from residential areas, roads, and public facilities.
Fayez Latouf, director of al-Ghab area, said the effort builds on a previous phase and aims to remove accumulated debris from streets and government buildings to improve living conditions for returning residents.

Hama’s Director of Emergency and Disaster Management Mohammad al-Sheikh Qaddour said the campaign also aims to reopen blocked roads and improve access by removing large quantities of rubble.
Ahmad Sayadi, director of Mhardeh area, said the campaign will be expanded in the next phase to include towns and villages in Souran, Salamiyah, and southern Hama countryside.
Many areas across Hama continue to face challenges from widespread debris, with authorities working alongside local and international partners to clear affected areas and support the safe return of residents.
