Quneitra, March 27 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces on Friday arrested two civilians in the southern countryside of Quneitra, according to SANA reporter.
The reporter said the forces detained a young man and a child while they were grazing livestock near the western hill of al-Ahmar. The troops also opened fire toward other shepherds in the area, though no injuries were reported.
Earlier at dawn, Israeli forces advanced into the town of Jabata al-Khashab in the northern countryside of Quneitra, where they raided and searched a house before withdrawing.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, as well as attacks on civilians involving raids, arrests, and land leveling.
Syria has consistently called for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its territory, stressing that all measures taken in southern Syria are null and void and have no legal effect under international law. It has also urged the international community to assume its responsibilities, deter Israeli practices, and ensure a full withdrawal from the occupied southern territories.
