Damascus, March 26 (SANA) General Commission for Scientific Agricultural Research signed a cooperation agreement with the Syrian Green Horizon foundation on Wednesday to advance food security, rural development and joint research initiatives in Syria.
According to the agreement, the two sides will collaborate on conducting agricultural research and studies, exchanging expertise and research findings, and supporting family- and community-based farming.
The partnership also includes developing educational and extension materials aimed at improving agricultural practices and enhancing productivity.
The agreement builds on a memorandum of understanding signed on January 22 between the Commission and the Watan Relief and Development Organization, which focuses on expanding cooperation in agriculture to benefit communities and the environment.
