Quneitra, March 24 (SANA) Israeli forces detained two young men on Tuesday near Tal al-Dar’iyat in the vicinity of al-Rafid town in the southern countryside of Quneitra.
SANA reporter in Quneitra said the two were detained while herding sheep in the area.
Earlier on Tuesday, Israeli forces advanced toward the village of Ofania in the northern countryside of Quneitra.
Israeli forces continue to carry out incursions in southern Syria, in violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, including raids, arrests, and the bulldozing of land.
Syria have repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Syrian territory, stressing that all measures taken in southern Syria are null and void and have no legal effect under international law. They also urge the international community to assume its responsibilities and halt such practices
