He added that the new uniform is part of an updated visual identity to be applied across all departments.

The ministry said the move is part of efforts to develop its workforce and modernize its institutional image.

The new uniform will be adopted by several units, including special tasks units, road security, police, traffic police, and tourism police.

Citizens attending the ceremony said the discipline and readiness shown by the graduates reflect extensive training efforts. They added that the new visual identity highlights ongoing development within state institutions, including earlier updates to police vehicle branding.

The development follows the inauguration of a women’s police academy in Damascus, aimed at expanding female participation in security roles.
