Aleppo, March 14 (SANA) The Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management on Saturday launched a campaign in al-Shuyoukh subdistrict in eastern Aleppo countryside to remove earthen barriers and reopen roads, aiming to facilitate the return of residents and accelerate recovery in the area.
In a statement, the ministry said the campaign is being carried out by Syrian Civil Defense teams alongside war-remnants clearance units, as part of ongoing efforts to support stability and improve services in affected areas.
The campaign began on January 9 in neighborhoods that had been under the control of the SDF in Aleppo, in a step aimed at restoring normal life there.
Several areas in eastern Aleppo countryside are witnessing infrastructure rehabilitation, amid government efforts to enhance stability and create suitable conditions for residents to return to their areas after years of damage to roads and public facilities.
