Syrian Emergency Ministry Receives Comprehensive Relief Aid from Saudi Delegation

Syrian Emergency Ministry Receives Comprehensive Relief Aid from Saudi Delegation

Damascus, SANA-the Syrian Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management received a package of relief aid from a Saudi delegation headed by Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al Rabeeah, Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief).

The aid covers emergency, disaster, health, social affairs, labor, education, agriculture, and service sectors.

In a statement to SANA’s reporter, al Rabeeah, affirmed that these initiatives align with Saudi Arabia’s approach to enhancing humanitarian and developmental stability in Syria.

He said that today’s contribution is “one of the largest humanitarian projects launched by the Kingdom in Syria,” including vital interventions in food security, healthcare services, school rehabilitation, infrastructure, debris removal in affected areas, and the provision of 454 dialysis machines for hospitals.

For his part, Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management Raed al Saleh stated that today marks a shift in the course of humanitarian work toward a genuine partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aimed at achieving reconstruction and sustainable development.

Al Saleh pointed out that Saudi projects in Syria are characterized by integration and equitable distribution among Syrians, providing support based on need, in alignment with the Syrian government’s vision for the critical upcoming phase.

The minister extended his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for this noble support, which reflects the true spirit of Arab brotherhood.

In a similar statement, Abdullah bin Saleh Al Muallim, Director of Health and Environmental Aid at the Center, affirmed that this support for the Syrian people is not new. The delivered aid includes humanitarian sectors such as food, shelter, clothing, health projects, water, sanitation, and community support initiatives like orphan care, agricultural assistance, and debris removal.
