Idlib, Feb. 20 (SANA) The Ministry of Interior on Friday handed over 117 modern vehicles bearing its new visual identity to the Internal Security Command in Idlib province, as part of efforts to strengthen organized and advanced security presence across Syrian provinces.
Head of the Traffic Branch in Idlib said the province received a batch of vehicles under a plan to develop logistical capacities and raise the readiness of security and police units, contributing to enhanced stability and faster field response. He added that police institutions in Idlib are in urgent need of such vehicles to activate policing more effectively, noting that the ministry responded by dispatching the logistical support to serve citizens and ensure traffic and public safety in Idlib and its countryside.
The handover ceremony was attended by Idlib Governor Mohammad Abdulrahman, Internal Security Commander Brigadier General. Ghassan Bakir, district directors, police commanders and official and public figures.
