Damascus, Feb. 18 (SANA) The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Damascus held a reception Tuesday evening at the Four Seasons Hotel to mark Saudi Founding Day.
Saudi Ambassador to Damascus Faisal bin Saud Al-Mujfel said the occasion carries profound symbolism for the Saudi people as it marks the establishment of the Saudi state. He extended congratulations to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and to Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
Finance Minister Mohammed Yisr Barnieh and Culture Minister Mohammad Yassin Saleh attended the event and congratulated the Saudi Kingdom and its people on the occasion. They highlighted Syrian-Saudi relations, saying they are rooted in longstanding fraternal and strategic ties and continue to develop across various sectors.
