Quneitra, Feb. 15 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces detained three young men from Bariqa village in the southern countryside of Quneitra on Sunday while they were grazing livestock near the village.
SANA’s correspondent in Quneitra reported that an Israeli patrol pursued the three civilians and fired shots in their direction to force them to stop before arresting them and transferring them to the Tal al-Ahmar al-Gharbi military position.
Earlier in the day, Israeli occupation forces, consisting of two Hummer vehicles, advanced along the Rasm al-Halabi road connecting the village of Ruwayhina and the town of Nabaa al-Sakhr, where they established a temporary checkpoint.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into Syrian territory, as well as raids, arrests of civilians, and land bulldozing in southern regions.
Syria has consistently called for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, affirming that all measures taken by the occupation in southern Syria are null and void and have no legal validity under international law. Syrian authorities have also urged the international community to assume its responsibilities and compel Israeli forces to fully withdraw and cease violations against civilians.
