Damascus, Jan. 27 (SANA) Syria’s Minister of Justice, Mazhar al-Wais, signed a memorandum of understanding with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) on Tuesday to strengthen cooperation in legal and humanitarian areas.
The Justice Ministry said on its official Telegram channel that the agreement was signed by Minister al-Wais and UNHCR Representative in Syria, Gonzalo Vargas Llosa.
The memorandum is intended to enhance coordination between the Ministry of Justice and international organizations, supporting justice initiatives and legal protection nationwide.
