Damascus, Jan.26 (SANA) Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Qutaiba Kadish, said on Monday that work is underway to dispatch a new convoy of ten trucks from the World Food Program to Hasakah province tomorrow.
“A follow-up committee sent 30 trucks loaded with relief supplies today, and they are now en route to Hasakah city as the convoy will be stationed overnight in Raqqa,” Qadish told SANA in a statement.
He added that teams from the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the International Committee of the Red Cross will enter Hasakah province accompanied by five trucks carrying food supplies as the authorities have provided all necessary facilitations for this purpose.
