Riyadh, Jan.26 (SANA) Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Hind Kabawat, discussed on Monday with Qatari Labor Minister, Ali bin Saeed bin Samikh Al-Marri, aspects of enhancing cooperation in the fields of labor, vocational training and capacity building.
The meeting comes on the sidelines of the minister’s participation in the third edition of the International Labor Market Conference of Riyadh.
Relations between Syria and Qatar are rapidly developing following the fall of the deposed regime in December 2024 and the rise of the new government. Qatar has emerged as a central partner, providing humanitarian aid, initiating reconstruction projects in energy and infrastructure, and strengthening diplomatic ties with the new Syrian leadership.
